Hiroshi Tsubouchi

The first time I heard of Hiroshi Tsubouchi footwear was when Monocle collaborated with the brand to come up with a limited edition line of leather slip-ons.

Our Legacy Derby for Trés Bien

I am on a self-imposed shopping ban and, for the lack of a better word, it sucks. Especially when this beautiful Our Legacy derby turned up on Trés Bien. The shoes come in a beautiful shade of burgundy, which I think will pair well with dark denims or khaki chinos. Top the outfit off with a white oxford shirt and you're good to go. But until the shopping ban ends, these will, for now, remain a dream.

Florals? For men? Groundbreaking, I suppose.

While we saw huge blooms from Jil Sander, this photo shows that tiny floral prints are easier to pull off - especially when incorporated into a menswear staple like a casual blazer. What do you think?

Tres Bien - What's New

Check out Tres Bien's foray into creating simple style editorials, with the first one called "I Need A Vacation" (and quite frankly, who doesn't need one?). It features pieces from brands such as Visvim, Mismo, Moscot, A.P.C. and more. I have to say, the photography is really outstanding. Check out some of the pictures below and visit the website to see the rest.

And as some of you might know, Tres Bien recently reopened their newly renovated boutique in Malmo, Sweden.

As a treat for Tres Bienites all across the globe, they're offering free shipping for the entire month of June! So if you're hankering for some McNairy or Tricker's footwear, some Our Legacy threads and perhaps a new CDG wallet, now is the time for much needed retail therapy!

A Closer Look: Suede Derby by Mark McNairy

My McNairy's are finally here! This pair, which is crafted in England, is made from suede leather and sports the unmistakable Goodyear welt red brick sole. I can already see myself wearing the hell out of these shoes.

On a side note, this won't be the last time I'll order from Tres Bien. I only had to wait four days and the free shipping was a definite plus.

A.P.C. Shoulder Bag

Pardon me. I just noticed that this is my third A.P.C.-related post for the month. But what can I say, I really love the brand.

Order the bag from Tres Bien because they're currently offering free worldwide delivery for the whole month of May. On top of that, countries outside the EU will get an additional 20% off.

Size matters...

...but sometimes, big is not always good. There are days (weekends, really) where I don't feel like lugging a big bag to hold my essentials (keys, phone, cigarettes). Stuffing them in my pocket is out of the question too.

Imagine my excitement when I saw this beautiful Our Legacy Pilot Bag in washed leather from Tres Bien. Well, you can also imagine how devastated I was when I found out it was sold out.

It's almost a steal at $130. And at the same time, Tres Bien is offering free shipping anywhere in the world until the end of the month. To top it off, items shipped outside the EU have an additional 20% off. And again I ask, why is it sold out?!

Oh well. I just have to wait and see if they'll have this in stock again. In the meantime, can anyone point me to other online boutiques that carry Our Legacy?

Kitsuné Autumn/Winter 2009/10

Tres Bien shows us some pieces from Kitsuné's Autumn/Winter 2009/10 collection. From what I can see, the latest offerings utilize some of the most coveted materials around such as chambray and corduroy. As for accessories, knit ties, suede ankle boots and sunglasses take center stage.

Chambray shirt with shoulder details

Slim-cut corduroy trousers

Beautiful striped shirt with the Kitsuné fox logo

Some of the season's accessories and "The Graduate" DVD, the film that inspired the collection

Also, watch the short clip below for a unique and playful look at the rest of the collection. The clip also features tunes that are on the Kitsuné Maison 7 compilation. Enjoy!

Très Bien in London

One of my dreams is to own a small boutique with a well-curated selection of clothing, accessories and shoes. One such boutique that's already doing this is Sweden's Très Bien. And let me tell you, they're doing a very impressive job.

Every time they go on their buying trips, I get inspired by the photos that they take and in a way, I feel like I'm buying with them. Their latest trip brought them to London to check out brands like Albam, Margaret Howell and Woolrich Woolen Mills. Here's a sampling of some of the photos from their blog.

Amazing selection.

Okay, I need Superga sneakers.

Looks from the S/S '10 Woolrich Woolen Mills collection. Aren't those totes great?

At Margaret Howell. The space is breathtaking!
