The Gift of Friendship

This is the first Christmas I spent away from home. It's definitely lonely and turns you into some sort of scrooge. But one thing I'm thankful for during this season of merriment and joy - my friends. They've been there for me through ups and downs, challenges and triumphs. They're the gifts that just keep on giving. Merry Christmas friends! I miss you every single day.

Early Christmas Present

Do I really need another pair of white sneakers? Well, yes, I do. The pair from Muji that I've been using everyday is slowly giving up on me.

These kicks (I'm not really sure where they're from - my guess is Korea?), courtesy of my brother and sister-in-law (I asked them to buy it for me! Hah.), have a great narrow shape and an interesting gummy sole. They're also very comfortable and will definitely make walking a pleasure. I won't be using them first though - I'll wait until after the 25th. In the meantime, I'll place them under the tree and admire them from a distance.
