It's All In the Wrist

I'm not really big on accessories. Usually, a simple watch is all I need. But the bracelets below, which are oh so beautiful and painfully preppy, are making me reconsider things.

Colour Story

I've avoided colour for as long as I can remember. Perhaps I found it gaudy, or maybe I was just afraid that it would look silly on me. I hid behind black, white and gray for the longest time - my comfort zone. But slowly, I've been changing that.

I'm re-discovering the wonder of colour and all the beautiful sartorial possibilities that come with it. I slowly introduced it to my wardrobe in little doses in the form of coloured socks. I even surprised myself a few weeks ago by purchasing these wonderful kelly green shorts from Ralph Lauren.

Perhaps it was the photos below, from the amazing site Close Up and Private, that really did it for me. The combination of different shades, hues and palettes are a sight to behold and every outfit is done so well without trying too hard.
