Wandering around.
Started my day by going to the Red Dot Design Museum. I love the building since it's an artwork in itself. An old, colonial style building painted red that houses the museum, cafes and restaurants, and offices. Wouldn't mind working there since the neighborhood is quite charming as well.
After that, I decided to go to Ann Siang Road to check out the boutiques and quaint shop houses. Made a few wrong turns here and there but then I realized getting lost isn't so bad. You end up discovering nice little alleyways.
Checked out the new location of Books Actually and dropped by Front Row. A.P.C. and Eley Kishimoto clothes and accessories were on sale but I didn't buy anything. Shopping wasn't in the agenda. It was nice going through the racks of clothing though, especially since I had all the time in the world.
It started to rain really hard when I got out of Front Row and silly old me forgot to bring an umbrella. Oh well.
Don't be fooled by the shabby looking exteriors. Inside those shop houses are Scandinavian furniture and clothing stores, a Fred Perry boutique, and various design studios.
The rains started to calm down after a few minutes and I retraced my steps back to where I started. I stopped by a park bench for a while to rest my legs since I was standing the whole time I waited for the rain to stop. After that, I took the subway and met my brother for dinner.

It is especially if you don't care about the time. :-)
whenever i get stressed id think of a happy place that id rather be in at the very moment ...
that photo outside the Front Row and the bench by the park would do it for me right now.
Miss you ant!
May I know where is the alley (with white walls and a lamp post) exactly-as you wander to Ann Siang Road? I like the place and thinking of taking my pre-wedding photo there :p. Thanks!
