Birthday Gift # 2: Tod's Nuovo Gommini Penny Driver

Since I'm turning 26 tomorrow, I decided to give myself three birthday gifts. What's the significance? I have no idea. Anyway, here's birthday gift number 2 - a pair of shoes from Tod's. I have to say, they're really comfortable and the smell of quality leather is intoxicating.

Pardon me. I just noticed that this is my third A.P.C.-related post for the month. But what can I say, I really love the brand.

An afternoon at A.P.C.

After posting pictures of the brand new A.P.C. boutique in Singapore, I felt compelled to visit the store since I'm such a huge fan of the brand.

As soon as I stepped in the boutique, I was greeted by racks filled with a fine selection of clothing, display cases that boasted a well curated collection of accessories and elegant interiors that reflected the brand's aesthetics.

Here's a closer look at some of the items I picked up on that joyous afternoon.


A no-nonsense slim, braided leather belt. The dust bag is a nice extra touch.


A simple long sleeved shirt in a grey/blue colour. Up close, it looks like faded denim. Despite its extreme simplicity, I have to say this shirt fits like a dream.


The shirt sports a small collar which I particularly like. There's something about a smaller collar that breathes new life to something so common like a long sleeved shirt, no? Or maybe that's just me.


When you spend a certain amount, you get a free tote bag. I chose this roomy tote made from corduroy in a beautiful shade of green. Looks like I got my wish!

A Peek Into A.P.C. Singapore

If you didn't know, A.P.C. just opened their first boutique in Singapore last Tuesday, April 27. I have yet to pay the store a visit, but in the meantime, here are some pictures from Street Thing.
