The Life Aquatic With Steve Zissou
I watched Wes Anderson's The Life Aquatic a few years ago and I remember not being blown away by it unlike Rushmore or The Royal Tenenbaums. Fast forward a couple of years later, I find myself watching it on a lazy Sunday night and falling terribly in love with it.
As I type this, I am listening to the amazing soundtrack and thinking of how cool the cast of characters are. Seeing Bill Murray, Anjelica Huston, Jeff Goldblum, Cate Blanchett and Owen Wilson work seamlessly with each other makes you want to be part of the cool Zissou crew on board the Belafonte.

R&R, Muji style
Imagine coming home a place that looks this neat, simple and relaxing after a long tiring day at work. Prepare yourself a simple dinner, pour yourself a glass of wine (or make a cup of tea if that's your thing) while listening to Feist's Honey Honey and How My Heart Behaves.
Savor that moment when everything becomes still, that moment when you stop thinking. It won't last that long because at the back of your mind, you know that it won't be long until you have to wake up again to face another tiring day.

Feeling a bit down and tired lately. My friend Kate sent me this to cheer me up. Thank you.

What is excess?
Do the images above represent unnecessary excess?
For some, it might. But for me, no. I believe that if you find an item that fits you and suits you perfectly, you should buy two, three, heck, even ten of it.
