Jack Spade: A Personal Favorite

One of my favorite brands is Jack Spade. The simplicity and functionality of the products is what keeps me loyal and the philosophy behind the brand is quite admirable as well. The founder, Andy Spade, says that their products "represent both honest, thoughtful design and practical purpose".

The brand's New York boutique is quite an interesting place. It has a well curated selection of brick-a-brack and a fantastic display of art and books. When taken in as a whole, the store feels very homey with a touch of old world nostalgia mixed in with a bit of playful quirkiness.

A must have from the brand is this weekend bag made of a rust-colored canvas and brown leather details. At $395, the bag is almost a steal since the size can hold at least a week's worth of clothes and the double facing cotton duck canvas (what a mouthful!) resists both stains and moisture which means this bag can last you a lifetime.
